Jon Arenas, founder of Motink Tattoo, tattoos in Andorra by appointment in two areas: Andorra la Vella and Pas de la Casa. If you live in Andorra or are spending a few days in the mountains, you can book your session and get your tattoo without travelling down to Barcelona.

Our speciality is realism: black and grey realism and hyperrealism, large pieces and full compositions where every shadow and texture is worked with precision. We also do fine line, colour and cover-ups.

Appointments in Andorra are scheduled on specific dates. Message us on WhatsApp, tell us your idea and which area suits you best, and we will send you the next available days.

And if you prefer, you can also visit our tattoo studio in Pallejà (Barcelona).

FAQ’S

Who can get a tattoo?

Anyone can get a tattoo except pregnant women or people with any kind of active skin condition, such as viral warts, herpes or bacterial infections, according to experts. Tattoos are also not advisable for people with psoriasis or lichen planus, a condition that causes recurring rashes and itching on the skin or in the mouth.

On the other hand, if you tend to develop keloid scars, that is, large raised scars, the unavoidable wounds caused by the tattoo can leave unsightly marks.

How do I heal a tattoo?

A fresh tattoo is, literally, a wound that needs to heal so that it scars over as soon as possible. Aftercare is important and the healing process takes a while. If you want a perfect result, at Motink Tattoo we recommend following these steps:

  1. Wash your hands before touching your tattoo.
  2. Remove the cling film about 30 minutes after the tattoo has been covered.
  3. On the first night, cover the tattoo with cling film.
  4. For the first 24 hours, only wash the tattoo three times a day (morning, midday and night), depending on when your session ends.
  5. After 24 hours, apply healing cream three times a day (morning, midday and night) for two weeks.
  6. After two weeks, apply moisturising cream once a day to keep the tattoo hydrated.
  7. If a scab forms on the tattoo, do not pick it. It will fall off on its own as it heals.
  8. Do not sunbathe or swim in the sea, pools, jacuzzis, lakes or rivers. After one month, we recommend full sun protection for the tattoo.
How do I book an appointment?

Our resident artists usually book a few weeks in advance because they almost always have a waiting list. You can book an appointment at the studio or by calling 633275835. The term “walk-in” means you don’t need an appointment. Walk-ins are served on a first-come, first-served basis, if cancellations allow. We will always do our best to meet your request.

What is micropigmentation?

Micropigmentation, or permanent make-up, is a technique in which pigments are implanted at the level of the epidermis.

It is used to enhance, balance or correct facial features. It is also used to correct damage caused by aggressive medical treatments, such as chemotherapy, or genetic cosmetic defects.
